Our prints vs our canvases:
Our Prints: Our cropped print series brings each empress up close — showcasing her unique gaze, symbolic colors, and timeless strength. Perfect for smaller spaces and meaningful gifts.
Our Canvas: For the full experience of each empress’s story, our canvas prints preserve the original scroll-inspired design — from elaborate headpieces to flowing robes. A museum-quality piece for your home.
About the end of the Northern Song Dynasty: This period ended in 1127 after decades of military decline and political corruption. It fell to the Jurchen Jin invasion, culminating in the Jingkang Incident, when the Jin captured the capital Kaifeng and abducted Emperor Huizong, his successor Emperor Qinzong, and many members of the royal family. This marked the collapse of the Northern Song and the beginning of the Southern Song Dynasty, which relocated south of the Yangtze River.
