About the empress: Empress Lü Zhi (241–180 BCE), also known as Empress Lü, was the first empress of the Han Dynasty. Renowned for her political skill and resilience, she is also remembered for her ruthless tactics in consolidating power, leaving a complex legacy in Chinese history.
